Newsletter Signups: When you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is collected through a secure form and stored by the form provider. This is used only to send new writing notifications.

Contact Messages: When you send a message through the contact form, your email address and message content are collected. This is used solely to respond to your inquiry.

Reading History: As you read pieces on the site, a local record of titles and slugs is saved in your browser's localStorage. This powers the 'Continue Reading' feature and is never transmitted to any server.

Saved Reading List: When you save a piece for later, the title and slug are stored in your browser's localStorage. This is entirely local to your device.

Form Data: Newsletter and contact submissions are processed and stored by the form service provider (Readdy Forms). This data is not accessible to third parties beyond what is necessary to deliver the service.

LocalStorage: Reading history and saved lists are stored entirely in your browser using localStorage. This means the data never leaves your device unless you explicitly clear it. It persists across sessions until you delete it.

Supabase: The writing content (titles, excerpts, full text, covers) is served from Supabase. Supabase also handles the admin authentication system. No personal user data is stored in Supabase beyond what is necessary for content delivery.

This site does not use cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising. No third-party analytics scripts (such as Google Analytics) are installed.

The only cookies that may be present are those strictly necessary for the form submission service or Supabase authentication to function securely. These are functional, not tracking cookies.

Readdy Forms: Used for the newsletter signup and contact form. Their privacy practices govern the data submitted through these forms.

Supabase: Used for content delivery and admin authentication. Supabase's data policies apply to the infrastructure layer.

No other third-party services, embeds, or trackers are used on this site.

You can clear your reading history and saved list at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage for this site.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.

You can request deletion of contact form messages by reaching out through the contact page.

You are not required to provide any personal data to read the writing on this site. All content is freely accessible without registration.

Form submissions are retained as long as necessary to fulfill their purpose. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept until a resolution is reached or you request deletion.

localStorage data remains until you clear your browser storage. There is no server-side retention because this data never reaches a server.
